I take a humanistic therapeutic approach for adults suffering emotional distress or seeking personal growth and self-improvement. Working together to uncover the underlying beliefs and emotions that contribute to your tension, which may be preventing you from fully embracing your potential.
Counselling is a third career chapter for me. Initially, I trained as a steel worker at a local shipyard before studying graphic design. I ran a small creative studio for many years and also offer business-focused counselling and mentoring to directors and small teams. I’m often told that I’m easy to talk to, which draw me to volunteering roles and ignited a desire to change course once more and become a counsellor.

After feeling so at ease and talking to Ryan about my situation I was, even at the end of my first session feeling much more positive and actually wanting to live and that life is worth living. That’s how bad I was and how incredible his sessions are. He is extremely supportive and has instilled in me that I am worthy, important and I have a purpose in life. These qualities were non existent in my mindset prior to meeting Ryan.
